Close to Nairobi city is yet another popular bird watching destination in the Ngong Forest. A short distance of a few kilometers via the Ngong Road this birding safari can be half-day or full-day tour.
Ngong Forest has a rich animal diversity ranging from warthogs, duikers, monkeys, baboons, squirrels and various types of birds. It's also home to a tributary of the Mutuini River that runs across it and is the catchment area of the Athi and Kiserian rivers.
