It is located approximately 170 kilometers (105 miles) northwest of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.
Subukia National Shrine is a center that brings Good News of total healing through Jesus Christ to those deep mental, emotional and spiritual pain. Everyone visiting Subukia strives to have an encounter with Jesus our Divine Healer by trying to integrate Jesus and His healing message of salvation into their lives. This healing is done through celebration of sacraments and meditating of the Gospel inspired by the truth of Jesus’ healing powers for body mind and spirit.
The Subukia Shrine has in it`s record the miraculous healing of Mr. Helmut Mang who was a German architect. He is the person that designed the cross that dominates the valley in the shrine. It is dated 27th February 2005. There are other numerous undocumented healings experienced by the pilgrims at the same shrine.
The new retreat house is located at the Subukia National Marian Shrine, a serene environment for prayers, retreats, meetings or even resting. At this House there is a chance of reconnecting yourself with the Lord through sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Come and experience the presence of the Lord.
