Limuru, located in Kiambu, Central Kenya offers 2 attraction spots that are ideal for bird watchers: the Gatamaiyu Forest and Manguo Swamp. Some of the birds we expect to see in our safari include the:
- Placid Greenbul
- Southern Pochard
- White-tailed Crested-Flycatcher
- White-browed Crombec
- Mountain Buzzard
- Chestnut-throated Apalis
- Malachite Sunbird and
- African Stonechat
This is a single day trip that will start form Nairobi so you'll need to be ready with your gear early in the morning. Our tour guide will then drive you to the Gatamaiyu Forest first then later on in the day to Manguo Swamp.

We'll then arrive at our destination where our bird watching safari will begin.
