Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most popular attraction sites in Kenya. Situated in the Rift Valley province it is best known as the home of the flamingo that migrate there during the months of July to February. Located next to Nakuru Town it covers an area of roughly 189km squared.
Out safari itinerary will start early. We'll proceed to Nakuru National Park from our hotel. Once we reach the park will begin our bird watching safari where depending on the time of the year will get to see the Lesser and Greater Flamingo populations on the lake. Other birds we'll get to see include the:
- Black Cuckoo
- African Cuckoo
- Brimstone Canary
- Hottentot Teal
- Common Ringed Plover
- Pearl-spotted Owlet
- Pied Kingfisher and so many more.
Big game that we will get to see in the park include rhinos, leopards, zebras, buffaloes and giraffes.

DAY 1: Departure From Nairobi, Arrival And Start Of Tour
We begin our departure from Nairobi to travel to Nakuru National Park.
We then arrive at our destination where our bird watching safari will begin.
Once over we will head back to Nairobi.
